Welcome to Utility Coder

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Utility Coder ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Utility Coder, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Utility Coder provides a collection of free, web-based developer tools and utilities including, but not limited to:

  • Code formatters and validators (JSON, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Data converters (RGB/HEX, CSV/JSON, Base64, URL encoding)
  • Generators (UUID, Lorem Ipsum, QR codes, random data)
  • Hash and cryptographic tools (MD5, SHA-256, SHA-512)
  • Text manipulation utilities (case converters, diff checkers)
  • Image tools (compression, Base64 conversion)
  • And 90+ additional developer utilities

2.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide 99.9% uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Perform scheduled maintenance with or without notice
  • Update or change features and functionality

2.2 No Registration Required

Our Service does not require account creation or registration. You can use all tools anonymously without providing personal information.

3. Use License

3.1 Grant of License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

3.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

However, you may not resell or redistribute the Service itself as a competing product.

You must not use the Service to:

We do not warrant that:

  • Results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained will meet your expectations
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

You understand and agree that you download from, or otherwise obtain content or services through, the Service at your own discretion and risk, and that you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from such activities.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL UTILITY CODER, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

This limitation applies whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

8.1 Maximum Liability

If, notwithstanding the foregoing, we are found liable for any loss or damage, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the action giving rise to liability (which is $0, as our Service is free).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Utility Coder and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right or privacy right
  • Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party

You may stop using the Service at any time. Since no account is required, simply discontinue your use.

11.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Illegal or harmful activity
  • Abuse of the Service
  • At our sole discretion

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
